GED grads take winding road to high school education

On her path to completing a high school education, Shenea Cordell has taken a different route than most. The 18-year-old Grand Forks native never finished ninth grade and, eight months ago, gave birth to her son Brantley.

Excellent article. I was a GED student in Grand Forks back in the 90′s, and the program really helped me get a step up in life. I went to UND, and now am finishing up my Ph.D. I could not have done it without the staff and people who supported me. I can only encourage those who have followed the same non-traditional path to keep striving toward your goals!
