More than 100 people filled the community center last weekend to hear about locally produced foods of all kinds and about producing some of those goods themselves. The group listened to nine presenters relate a sampling of the skills, tools and issues involved in their respective fields and how they came to be growers/fishermen/syrupers/beekeepers. There were exhibits by presenters and other local producers, and even samples of this season’s maple syrup and locally pressed apple cider to be savored.
