The print version of Daily Globe today ran this story as a BANNER HEADLINE. Clearly, the editors felt this was the biggest news of the day. But,since Des Moines is 270 miles away from here, why should this story achieve such importance? The story carried nothing new or particularly enlightening. I’m sure we’ll hear lots from politicians of all stripes in the next 5 months, and some of them might actually get alot closer to our hometown. Save the banner headlines for news that’s really important, or relevant, to the majority of readers.
