Ahhh… Parent companies: Making competition seem real for over 30 years. If big fish eat small fish, and there are no small fish left, what happens to all the big fish? Answer: They monopolize the market. That’s how our capitalist pyramid scheme works.

I think a good follow-up story would be to talk to the people who worked for years at Paulson’s and find out how the transition is going with Miner’s.
