A Jamestown man’s murder trial scheduled for August will remain in Stutsman County, according to court documents.
Leron Lee Howard, 34, has pleaded not guilty to murder and criminal conspiracy in the death of Abdi Ali Ahmed, 18, Jamestown. Ahmed’s body was found April 30, 2011, in a road ditch near Spiritwood, N.D. He had been killed by blunt trauma to the head and also suffered stab wounds to the abdomen. Continue Reading

Based on Cave’s slap on the wrist, Howard should be very happy that the trial will be in Stutsman County.

I don’t blame him for wanting to move the trial. I am willing to bet that the majority of the jury members are going to walk in there with a guilty verdict before the trial even starts. With all the hype this trial has gotten and all the stories that are being run on it you know that people from this town already think they know what really happened and already have there minds made up on the case.
