Franson: Many accomplishments found in 2012 session
May 5, 2012 at 5:14 am in Alexandria Echo Press
One year ago, lawmakers were struggling to decide how to overcome a
$5.1 billion budget deficit. Governor Dayton was touting a proposal
that his own Department of Revenue found would raise taxes on the rich,
the poor, and everyone in between. Continue Reading

Congratulations, very nice pat yourself on your own back article. Could not have bragged myself up any better if I tried. Now, let’s get to the real issue. Get the Vikings stadium proposal passed. Now is the time! Am looking forward to how this legislator votes!

Westrom supported the Vikings stadium. Franson did not support the Vikings stadium. Franson’s political career is in jeopardy!

Agree totally with Ginger. Both Ms Franson and Senator Bill are totally mute on one of the most visible issues to face the legislature in many years. If they vote no let’s let them hear about it by voting them out.

I love how the Republicans keep touting this business tax relief. Like tax credits and relief are going to be incentive enough for me to hire someone and pay them a salary/benefits. No, that money more than likely will go into my back pocket. The only thing that is going to be incentive to hire more individuals is if the demand for my goods and services increase, and that isn’t happening until a majority of the population has more money in their pockets, ie, the middle class. You would think they would have learned by now that trickle down economics just doesn’t work……

I wonder if Ms Franson can see Russia from her house? She reminds me a lot of a former VP candidate who often spoke nonsense.

There are multiple reasons to vote Mary Franson out. Her no vote on the stadium is just the most recent.

Sounds to me like BSU Beaver is making the case for “Trickle Down Economics.”

Interesting contrast – just listened to Ms Mary describe the legislative session with an long attack on democrats and trashing the stadium – totally Debbie Downer! Then next on the radio Torry W. and Paul Anderson (all three are Republicans) talking in a positive tone and not trashing anyone. I wonder if Mary could join Michelle in Switzerland or Sarah in Alaska – she has no “Minnesota nice”. Every time she opens her mouth it is bad-mouthing someone or something. Nothing positive. We need legislators like Paul & Torry – whether DFL or Republican who can relate the the average person and say a few words without attacking someone.
