Minn. contractors claim millions lost during state government shutdown

Minnesota continues to see costs ripple out from the state government shutdown last summer as road work contractors file claims to recover millions in losses. The Star Tribune reports that the Minnesota Department of Transportation has paid $4 million in settlements to contractors whose work was stopped during the shutdown.
