Jeff,
I was diagnosed stage 3a colon cancer in Jan of 2009 at age 50 and a half yrs old. After surgery and chemo treatments ending in July of 2009, I stand tall and remain cancer free today. My recent scans and screenings have been clean and there’s no reason to believe they won’t remain clear in the future.
It’s tough journey, but staying positive is the best advice I have for you. Take it one step at a time and follow the guidance of the doctors.
It’ll seem like time is going in slow motion, but the days pass quicker than you’ll realize and you’ll be where I am today! Cancer free and living with a renewed spirit.
Best wishes to you. Take care!
