Gov. Scott Walker’s campaign has about eight times as much money on hand as his four Democratic challengers combined. There’s still five weeks to go before Walker’s recall election, and one week before his Democratic opponent is determined in a primary.

What exactly are the progressives going to do, should they take power to curb spending and make sure we don’t get behind in bills like Doyle led us to? So far, both candidates say NOTHING except restoring collective bargaining, which, as has been proven will cause more pain in everyone’s pocket book and create ZERO jobs.

Oh AA, your complaint Walker is “taking cash from out-of-state donors” is so empty and 2-faced.
Gee…let’s see…on this list of 140 Top All-Time political donors, 1989 to 2012, there are 29 unions listed. And in the top 20, there are 12 union groups. And the number ONE donor….ACT BLUE which has donated $61,000,000+ to only Democrat[ic] candidates/causes since 1989. How much of that “out-of-state donor” money do you suppose has been used in Wisconsin in the past? And how much “out-of-state” money due you suppose the unions and Act Blue will used to smear and lie about Walker in the next 8 weeks? Are you going to be outraged about that as well? Didn’t think so….

And about Walker’s legal bills…until he is faces a judge and jury I don’t care about allegations. Explain why Walker’s attorneys shouldn’t be paid… Seems to me you want to be paid for work you do, why should they be treated differently?

Another example of out-of-state money in WI politics. Alice, are you aware the Dems / unions spent $1,698,768 in trying to recall Sen. Harsdorf? This chart compliled by the MacIver Institute shows where sources of the money for the 9 state senator recalls….
How about a little outrage over the $ from MI, CA, IL, DC? And explain to me why I should think these same groups won’t contribute to Falk or Barret in a race against Walker?

Where do you stand on the union influx of money? You can’t have it both ways Alice. How about telling me what exactly a union backed liberal is going to do to keep our budget in check WITHOUT raising taxes? You realize, I’m sure, the budget deficit was all on Doyles watch. Also, Alice, you are quick to blame Walker for the slow take off in new jobs..yet, your oh so progressive friends i the legistlature puts up road blocks at every turn when a job opportunity, requiring state funding gets brought before them.
Regarding the legal defense fund. I know many businesses, that are concerned about potential lawsuits who retain legal counsel. In this case, Walker, as usual, did the right thing to protect himself. Can you point out where any illegal has been tied DIRECTLY to something he did? No charges have been brought up against the Governor…ZERO.
Finally, are you ready to blame DOYLE for the mess we are in now? Afterall, the Marxist Obama is blaming Bush for all of the mess we are still in.

Vote yourself a sales tax increase. Vote for Kathleen Falk or Doug LaFollette so they can keep their promises to the public employee unions to restore the faux right for 11% of the state population to steal money from the poor, elderly, low income, students and non-public union workers of WI.

Good article about the terrible truth of that dastardly Walker! Where exactly has he hurt ANY ONE??? Other than the whiny unions, Wisconsinites should be applauding Walker for EVERYTHING he has done. No, people like Alice like to point to this:
“One of those issues is an investigation by Milwaukee Democratic District Attorney John Chisholm into alleged wrongdoing by former staffers to Mr. Walker when he was Milwaukee County Executive, including whether some did political work on government time. Mr. Chisholm’s political impartiality was, er, questioned last month when it was revealed that 43 people in his office had signed recall petitions.”
Should be a pretty short investigation I would think. Didn’t that rube from Ellsworth (government employee) do the same thing? I was told by Alice it wasn’t a big deal.
Get over it.

“Get over it.”
Why didn’t you, and your temper-tantrum buddies, take your own advice before wasting $47 million dollars on a recall election? Don’t complain about schools, the elderly or poor having programs cut when you have no problem wasting $47 million on a “do-over” election instead of waiting for the next election.
Barrett: Walker’s “war on women” = lying
.politifact.com/wisconsin/statements/2012/apr/10/kathleen-falk/dem-wisconsin-governor-recall-says-gop-backed-bill/)
Falk: makes backroom deal with teacher’s union to restore collective bargaining “rights” in exchange for union endorsement = corruption
Oh ya AA, tell me how saintly the Dem candidates are….

So your logic: “Walker brought this on himself, the people responded” must mean you are referring to the Capitol protests over Act 10. So then, that must be the reason for the recall and because of its importance it figures prominently in the Dem canidates debates and campaigns….
So why does it take direct questions regarding Act 10 to get the candidate to even address Act 10?
Gee…could it be Dem polling found Act 10 is only a concern of 11/12 % of registered or likely voters? (Keep in mind WI PE’s make up roughly 11% of the state population)
Where’s the honesty AA? Like most kidlets and a temper tantrum, the reason for the tantrum is forgotten after the screams have quieted down.
I read Doug, if elected governor, is going to fly to Washington, DC and try to reclaim the high speed rail funding turned down by Walker. If trains are so good, why doesn’t he hop on the bus from Madison to Milwaukee and take the train from Milwaukee to Washington, DC….????

Another example of Democrat out-of-state money being funnelled into the state via creative methods so it appears the attack ads originate from a WI source:
“When the Democrat Governors Association wanted to launch an attack on Governor Scott Walker they chose to launder money through the Greater Wisconsin Political Fund to make the ad appear Wisconsin-based. On April 23 the Greater Wisconsin Political Fund took credit for airing a negative ad that became the first ad of the recall election to focus exclusively on attacking Governor Walker. Campaign finance records show that the money behind the ad actually came from the Washington-based Democrat Governors Association…”

Two questions that not one liberal will answer. I have asked it here countless times.
1. If the recall is successful, how are the progressives going to keep spending in check? You can’t revert to Doyle tactics, you’ll be billions in debt like we were. Increasing taxes to feed the unions will not spur growth.
2. What is the plan after you lose the recall?
I will wait patiently for an Alice answer, however, I don’t think it will come.

That’s all you’ve got AA?
Walker’s big sin is paying lawyers he had to hire because of a 2-year long John Doe investigation by the Democrat Milwaukee Co DA; that incredible department where 43 people signed recall petitions?
I’m so glad all the unemployed property owners in Milwaukee Co get to pay for this partisian witch hunt. What’s County Exec Barrett’s unemployment rate up to now…10%? High enough for you AA?
Oh wait, Democrats voted against iron ore mining in the state…I guess the only jobs important to them are union jobs…oh wait, the unions wanted the mining legislation passed…so Dems are only interested in PUBLIC employee union jobs….
How about answering Walter’s questions?

bac is looking over the border from MN, probably gets the Dem/progressive action /email alerts and thinks he knows what’s going on in WI…Obviously he didn’t read the previous comments and links to the millions of $ unions and out-of-state donors/groups are putting behind Dems.
But remember, in MN buying elections is an accepted legal action as long as you pay felons to vote for Dem candidates. I’m going to be LMAO over the Vikes stadium vote, no matter which way it goes.

Tom Barrett Is mayor of Milwaukee. The current Milwaukee County executive is Chris Abele who was elected in a special election last year to fill out the remaining term due to Scott Walker’s election to governor. He subsequently was elected to a full term this past April. Just thought that this comment page needed some facts.

Thank you for correcting my unintentional error in identifying the office Mr. Barrett holds.
I did become a little curious about the current Milw. Co. Exec, Mr. Abele, and surprised to learn he is part of the 1%, and basically defeated other Dems in the non-partisian Milwaukee Co Exec race by being able to purchase advertising.
His stance on PE contributions for insurance and pension contributions, and collective bargaining is a bit oxymoronic to me: “…Abele agrees with the increased contributions by employees to their health and pension benefits but does not support stripping collective bargaining. …” . Walker’s Act 10 was about the only way possible to get PEs to contribute more, since mediation was often used as the tool to maintain low insurance/benefit contributions.

As I fully expected Alice or some other progressive made the typical liberal move of spinning my question into another direction.
Wait, I think at one time Alice said something to the effect she doesn’t have all the answers but anyone but Walker would do a better job. That was a classic “Aliceism”
