Good luck and all to these 2, but I have to wonder, how are 2 young adults able to simply take 4 months off and not work at all? Where do they get their income?

I worked for a time with Steve (or was it Dan) Buettner. In those days they would work for 6 months and save up enough to go on adventures for 6 months. They did some neat, and crazy stuff.
