There are many valuable lessons to be working on the farm at a young age. The number 1 lesson is safety, lesson nuber 2 is long hours and hard work. I started driving tractor on my own at 12. I could back a trailer by 13. And I was working 16 hour days at 16. I hope these overzealous labor heads leave the farm lifestyle alone.
