The first half of the article reitterates the ignorant rants and lies against Cravaack thusly reinforcing the opinions of the weak minded. Only in the second half of the story does the real Cravaack come to light and proof the he is actually working to serve his constituants. Why bury the truth in the back part of the story? As for cutting programs, again you need to educate yourself about budgeting, there is only so much money and it is running out FAST. The year 2020 is less than 8 years away and that is when medicare runs out of money. We need to slow down spending…….. It is nice to hear that the occutards and union people are supporters of Congressman Cravaack, because they are the ones bullying and shouting.

I’m officially cancelling our subscription to this “news.” I mean I’ve had it. The Duluth “News” Trib. has always had an obvious left (and completely delusional) “approach” to their stories, but this war on Cravaack is ridiculous. Their efforts are so desperate that they try to make you believe that Klobuchar worked 351 days in 2011 and Franken 330 days. Why would they say “Days in D.C. when Senate was in session” for the Democrats and “Voting days in D.C.” for Cravaack. Could it be that they couldn’t dream up any other way of showing how they really stack up? That’s inaccurate and misleading. And with respect to living in Minnesota, Oberstar supporters will always say DUMB things, that’s a fact! We ALL KNOW that that man never spent a single day at his Chisholm residence! And his town halls were merely visits to Native Am. Reservations and Union shops ($$$$$). I’d love to see how Oberstar’s days off compare to those of Chip’s. What a bunch of B.S.! The DNT goes directly to the recycling bin until the subscription stops! TOTAL GARBAGE!!!!

I think people can’t get over the fact that Oberstar’s days are over. Maybe the monopoly that DFL has on our area is beginning to ease. Looks like Bob Jauch will be looking for work soon. The DNT’s editorial was good but it pressed forward the myth that Chip made a big deal about Oberstar’s million dollar home in Maryland. Actually Chip was rather adamant about NOT making Oberstar’s residency part of the campaign. Number one – it wasn’t an issue, and number two – previous opponents of Oberstar’s had tried to make it an issue and failed. Chip has good instincts, one of the reasons I supported him, he continues to use those instincts as a Congressman, and those instincts push him to do what is right, not what is expedient, which often gets him in hot water with his leadership.

Instead of lifting up one of their candidates, they are more interested in tearing town Cravaack. I guess I can see why, though. All the DFL candidates currently for the seat are all knuckleheads. Thanks, Tom and katydid, for reaffirming my feelings for the DFL of Minnesota. Also thanks for posting anti-Cravaack dribble, like clockwork, whenever there is an article about him. The guy could throw himself infront of a bus to save children, and you two would complain that Cravaack wrecked the bus.

Well, he did co-author a piece of legislation that would have closed down the Hibbing airport and most other small airports in northern MN.
