They added no new weight equipment, in fact, they’ve eliminated some of it. Moving the weightroom and making the upstairs look more like Planet Fitness does not “address needs.”
They painted some walls, added some mirrors and improved the lighting. You can put lipstick on a pig…you know the rest.

I thought the city was building a new fitness center on S. Washington. Why do we need to spend 3.2 million on the Y

Really……Why not just erase that whol north end so we can reach Thompson much quicker? Maybe we can get something passed to stop all projects on that end of town so everyone will have to go to the other end of town for everything…..Sounds great…..

How much of the costs are paid by public money (tax money)?
That’s the only part of this that merits attention. If this is done with private funds, they’ve got the right to do what they want.
If this is being done with tax money, I’m sorely disappointed.
