How quickly we all forget that there was only one bill passed in the last legislative session that was ‘supportive’ of Native Americans. All others received a resounding “NO” from Republicans.
It had nothing to do with health care. As I recall the only bill passed supportive of Native Americans had something to do with college athletics.

I support Americans.
Not Sovereign nations.

Roger Yankton wants more money….but not for the services he described. Anyone that knows anything about the SL Reservation knows where the money flows on the res. They know who’s abusing their children and not just physically. The entire monetary system on the res needs an overhaul starting with the Spirit Lake Casino. The taxpayers are funding organized crime and our elected officials are turning a blind eye to it.

All of this would be a moot point if we quit treating them as a seperate people.
At what point in time do we look them in the eye and just say no?
This sovereign nation is a bunch of bunk, they are only sovereign when it comes to Casinos and the Reservations, after that they are ALL American with special services and welfare etc….
I say the time is NOW! Either choose to be a seperate nation and provide 100% for yourselves, or join the nation as equals in every aspect and that means following our laws as well.
No special interests. Just Americans.
