If this was really about revenue as he claims, maybe the police should actually enforce the existing laws and tag and fine the lawbreakers. Or maybe there is some personal agenda here.

Or, maybe the additional revenue should be given directly to police and fire departments to offset the spike in calls and increased demand for service they are sure to receive.
