I believe the penalties should be more stringent; he was employed to uphold the law and willingly and knowingly broke it. He should be charged with child pornography as he had a 16 year old photo on his phone. He should not be treated any differently compared to the general public on this account.
I feel for his family as they are victims as well. Poor children.

Child endangerment and contributing to the delinquency of a minor ???? Why didn’t they charge him with everything in the book like they do the citizens? Sure he would have plea bargained them down but at least all the much worse heavier charges would remain on his public record for life. The public record is the real sentence and this bum got of real easy with a couple misdemeanor charges. I can understand why some might be having the incident thrown in their faces.
Hot debate. What do you think?
