What’s the state of the ND economy and budget compared with MN? Maybe the loudmouth from MN should go back to ignoring the budget and the economy and go back to what he knows best; ramrodding social agenda issues down everyone’s throats.

You can debate the architecture…I kinda like the North Dakota Capital….but here in Minnesota our embarrassment comes from what happens inside our Capital. Our building might be more impressive….but it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. No matter how much you dress it up…it’s still ugly.

Republican House majority leader Dean should go back to making breakfast sausages and quit picking on North Dakota.

I’m sitting here mulling over the state of the economy, local, school district, state, national, international: the last thing we need is a fancy state capital building, I think we would be well served by any old office building that has heat, lights and running water/sewage. No more wasting money on ‘ivory-towers’ for career leeches!

North Dakota’s Capitol Building is exactly what a Capitol building should be. Quality architecture built with quality materials, yet devoid of ostentation.
Dean is confusing taking pride in going to work in a pretty building with taking pride in serving the people who elected him.
He clearly is one of those in office who.just.don’t.get.it.
