On the eve of a hearing in federal court on the NCAA’s motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought against the association by American Indian supporters of UND’s Fighting Sioux nickname, the lawyer representing the Indians asked the judge to unseal records of the 2007 Grand Forks County District Court case that incorporated the settlement agreement between the NCAA and the State of North Dakota.
