The Minnesota Department of Human Services commissioner has overruled a previous decision by her department, denying the Superior Treatment Center a “determination of need” a required component to open a second methadone treatment clinic in Duluth.

Knock knock puddin’ head… the clinic will never be self sustaining… the taxpayers will foot the bill for the vast majority of the treatment costs. I suppose the treatment center could hire a PR person to make a commercial showing how much fun recovery is and what good treatment the addicts get… and, keep it such that the message is clear, your not an addict because of anything you did… it was someone else who got you into this mess….
