Candidates file for seats up for election June 12

The local slate of candidates is final for the 2012 North Dakota primary election.
Candidates had until 4 p.m. Friday to file with local offices to place their names on the ballot. The names will officially be placed on the ballot for the June 12 election after review of the petition signatures.

Dotzenrod is a 911-EMS dispatcher for Stutsman County who has lived in Jamestown about nine months.
“Snow removal, we should get some,” she said when asked why she was running.

VOTE FOR ROGER HAUT WE NEED PEOPLE WHO REALLY CARE ABOUT THE ISSUES! A BIG PLUS IS HE HAS KIDS IN SCHOOL SO HE REALLY KNOWS WHAT GOES ON IN THIS SCHOOL DISTRICT!!!!!!!

What a great slate of candidates for the upcoming election. I have met every one of the candidates and can say that the diversity is wonderful- for the first time in a long time we have choices to suite everyone! One thing for certain, with many incumbents stepping aside, looking forward to new leadership.
That being said, I would like to thank those men and women who are currently serving in leadership roles for their time, contributions, and great accomplishments.
