Very tragic that a young man of only 17 should lose his life in this manner. What else is tragic is how the shooter is being tried and convicted by public opinion, when NONE of the facts in the case are known. Alls most of us have seen is the innocent young pictures of the young man, that range from anywhere from 6 to 12 years old. A current picture, so we can relate to what he REALLY looks like today, would be helpful, yet far less heart wrenching (such as the one where he’s flipping off the camera, etc), I DO feel for his family during this time and hope that the shooter will be held 100% accountable for his actions, should the investigation reveal any wrongdoing. In the meantime, we should all stop pointing fingers of accussation and wait for the information to emerge. It does NO ONE any justice, to act on rumor and speculation. Instead of having your child carry a sign saying ” I love Skittles, don’t shoot”, would that child not be better served being taught how the justice system works, and that in our society you are truly innocent before proven guilty?
