It’s almost as if this was an advertisement inviting criminals to visit North Hudson and law abiding citizens to leave. If I were a burglar or drug dealer, I would plan to visit and “work” in North Hudson. Not much to worry about. I live in the Village and I’m disgusted with the Village Board. I pay taxes for public services and expect to have adequate police, fire and ambulance coverage. The Village is growing, yet they are reducing the hours and amount of officers? Tax increases hurt, but in order to have proper police coverage, I’m willing to pay my share of an increase if that’s what it takes.

Next time put a referendum on the ballot and you and your fellow constituents can have a binding say in how many cops you want on the beat.
