It’s a shame Kriesel is retiring. We need more like him.
I think it’s ridiculous that the argument against access to better fireworks is that they’re dangerous. Cars are dangerous, lots of people are injured and killed in and around them, yet we’re still allowed to drive. Boats are dangerous, you can fall out and drown. Walking is dangerous, you could be attacked by a flock of angry ducks. Knives are dangerous, yet we can still cut our steaks and butter our bread with them.
Now that I think about it, we shouldn’t be allowed to do anything fun. Let’s start bubble-wrapping the planet. For the kids.
