Great answer…And probably not too far from reality…..I mean is it really worth the money to do another piecemeal fix on such an old building when you know it’ll probably need another more expensive one in a couple decades or less? Maybe it’s time to sell it and build something new that wont need repair for some time. The current one looks nice from the freeway and I’m sure there’d be a lot of people insisting that this building must be the capital for hundreds of years…..Then again maybe some private enterprise can do something with it like make it a museum or such. My guess is that if a private enterprise got the building they’d find a way to get it fixed for less than the government would…..And probably a better quality job…..

I have to admit I am not objective on this. I remember the school field trips to the Capitol and marveling at its beauty. Plus the trek up to see the golden horses.
