Good luck Lee! Wish I could be there to help but I know you have the best backing possible to the job done.

What a positive change for us in the 7th. All we have had is a ‘YES’ Congressman to President BHO. As you all know now after a Long 3 years plus, HE helped the president do HIS damage. Lee, will get us up and at-em, again.

Who’s HE, carl? Somehow, since you’re from Grey Eagle, I kinda don’t think you’re in the 7th.

Do you have any userfull input to the discussion bac? How soon do you think Peterson will realize the hasn’t a prayer and decide to retire? I’m betting by the end of May.
Don’t get me wrong, I have actually voted for the Congressman in the past because he was the best candidate at the time. I hope he decides to retire rather then suffer a humiliating defeat. It would be good for him to end his career on a positive note.
Don’t you agree bac? I know Carl is a well informed conservative and I am sure he agrees with my assessment.

Sure is odd that both Elton and Carl post with their real names, Isn’t it?
And maybe, how bac can’t do the same?
I guess with the stuff he posts I wouldn’t want my name on it either…

Peterson defeated Byberg by what, 17% in 2010? Why will 2012 be any different?

arc, Only because our 7th District Congressman always answered YES even before President BHO told HIM how to vote. HIS Yes vote always— is why our Country is in ruins. .

Our country is in ruins, carl?
Really?
Tell us, carl. How many tall buildings have had planes fly into them in the last three years?
Seen Bin Laden running around lately?
Still getting your SS checks? How’s the Medicare treating you?
How about giving some examples of just how the country is in ruins?

Haven’t seen Bin Laden running around for 10 years. Haven’t seen a body either.
Thank God Obama chose to continue with President Bush’s successfull anti-terror measures.
BTY, thank God that Obama followed President Bush’s orginal plans and time line in for getting out of Iraq, to bad he didn’t follow Bush’s lead and stay out of Afganistan.
I am pretty sure Carl has paid for his Social Security and Medicare as have most seniors. Unfortunately seniors could have had 10 times the money available if the Democrats would have invested the money instead of spending every penny. That just leaves us with a bunch of IOU’s to fund Social Security.
The country is not in ruins, yet, but Obama is certainly working on destroying the country. That is why we need to stop him before he doubles the national debt again in the next 3 years.

Bush’s ‘successful antiterrorism measures’?
Oh, really? What were they?
Ignoring his advisors about the statements bin laden made about ‘flying planes into the WTC’? After the earlier attack on the WTC?
Pretending that nothing was happening while reading stories to gradeschool kids?
Begging Afghanistan to turn over Bin Laden?
Maybe it was that change in plans when he attacked Iraq? Just looking for an excuse to kill the guy who’d “tried to kill my dad”? WMD’s? Never found them, and meanwhile, OBL got away from a certain death because there were no orders to go after him.
Yeah, right.
Since then, Obama has relied on things that GWB had at his disposal, got Laden, got a load of al quaida, got through the thing with the revolution in Libya, with no boots on the ground and at a minmal cost.
How much did ‘shock and awe’ cost?

archie, this may give you a hint.
2010 Peterson 52.5 Byberg 37.6
2008 Peterson 72.2 Opponent 27.7
2006 Peterson 70.0 Opponent 29.0
2004 Peterson 66.0 Opponent 34.0
2002 Peterson 65.3 Opponent 34.7
While he was gaining support as a true Blue Dog Democrat, he suddenly went the “progressive” Blue Dog Democrat route after 2008, resulting in his popularity and support going South in the 2010 Election. 2012 may be a much different election as Hope and Change has become Hoax and Chains for many.
