What a joke! The schools are making budge cuts but are going to spend millions of dollars to buy every student and teacher their own iPad which will be outdated in less than a year? 5000 iPads x $500 = $2,500,000. Someone needs to get their priorities straight!

The positive piont is the lower costs for text books and expandible curriculum. however it make it easier for the materials being studied to be poorly vetted. most of the curriculm today has embeded collectivist philosophy i.e. socialism. this is propogated in math, sciences history and social studies with out any real classical western thought to balance it out.
If these are so great the free markets will prevail and parents will buy their own for their kids.
I am sure we will hear the ” what about the poor” from the statist, but at this rate of gov’t spending we’ll all be poor soon enough.
