This problem will disappear along with most public pools with the new Federal mandate that all pools have lifts capable of lifting 450 lb wheel chair bound persons.

People getting sick by bathing and soaking and playing in the same water as countless other people? You don’t say! One microbiology class will cure anyone of wanting to try that…but I realize the US is weak on basic science
