The Minnesota Public Safety Department reported that the state’s seat belt law saved 68 lives and prevented 320 severe injuries from 2009 to 2011.

It is entirely possible for the seat belt to CAUSE injury or death. This is proven time and again.
It is morally unacceptable for the State to decide who lives or dies in a traffic accident.
Seat belt (and many other “public safety”) laws are WRONG and must be repealed completely.
