Essentia was already short ‘a couple of surgeons”, so in other words, Dr. Konda was doing the work of 3 surgeons, as he was the only surgeon on staff doing heart bypass surgery. You have to admire a man who blames the weather and not his employer!

Duluth Spock hit the nail on the head, it seems a bit odd that a professional that worked in the area for almost a DECADE suddenly “isn’t comfortable with the weather that we have in Duluth”. Ha really? Thats what Essentia administration has to say about losing another professional to a different system!!! It seems that this GREAT institution called Essentia seems to have this problem every few years (Internal Medicine). Essentia Health “Here with You” this is the latest slogan for Essentia. As a FORMER patient of this system, i didn’t feel that they were here with me!!

Never mind the part about Dr. Konda degrading women at work. Essentia ain’t going to comment on that part, but they were tired of the harassment complaints because he felt he was too big for his britches. They made up a media friendly excuse and sent him on his way.

Josiah, I would warn you strongly that posting accusations personal in nature vs individuals opens you up to litigation. You could find yourself sued for slander.

I also have no dog in the fight, I merely happen to know more truth than Essentia wishes to communicate. It today’s litigious society, I may get sued for being truthful, but there are better things to lose sleep over.
