To think that the incredible complexity of the universe is just a stroke of happy luck is preposterous on it’s face. The Theory of Evolution has not been proven and is presented as a religion of atheism rather than fact.

What I have seen is the fanaticism of ‘some’ men on their belief system. Look at the Afgan’s reaction to finding burnt shards of the Quaran. In their zeal of outrage over 30 of their own were killed. Folks who base their arguments on any religious text are as if engraved in granite. They will not budge. Any argument to the contrary is like “trying to argue with the dining room table.” It is futile.

Humans do not need to completely dismiss the idea that a force of love exists within the universe, some call this force God, and believe in the theory of evolution. Some can affirm the Jesus movement as well as acknowledge the truth of science. Some can read the Bible with an openness believing that within the stories shared there, we can learn about the human divine interactions. Trying to justify faith through scientific knowledge is infantile at
best and trying to justify science through faith is equally inane. Theology and science to do not to be held in tension. There are two separate disciplines.
