$600,000 to repair a malfunctioning chiller at the high school!? Is that the same high school that opened in 2009? Was there no warranty coverage on the mechanical equipment for the high school? Was this expenditure questioned by the school board? While I understand the necessity to get the chiller repaired, this seems like a large expense for the newest school building in the school district.
