Pregnancy is not a disease but neither is a broken leg. Birth control pill are used for lots of purposes including helping women who have been told they should not try to have any more children. Were they to get pregnant, their high-risk pregnancies could be very expensive indeed. That is why it makes good sense for all women to be covered by their insurance. If a person can be covered for medication that keeps heart problems at bay, then women should be able to protect their health by taking necassary medication.
