If UMD is just going to offer the same number of classes spread out over three terms instead of two, I’m not sure that I see how this makes it easier for students to graduate. And given the situation in the state budget, I don’t see how they propose to hire more faculty to teach more classes. Seems like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
