Wisconsin News
Wisconsin’s new unemployment rate is the lowest since the Great Recession started taking hold in December of 2008. Labor officials announced a preliminary rate Thursday of 6.9%, down from 7% in December, and the number of private sector jobs had its biggest monthly increase in a year.

1. people logged into the site, couldn’t get past the first page of data, logged off and logged on again
2. out of state people trying to log onto database to learn if deceased WI relative name fraudulently signed
3 out-of-state relative/friend logging on to learn if elderly (with no internet access) relative/friend name or address fraudulently used.
4. out-of-state person with friend or shirttail relation in WI just curious to see if that person signed
5 Former WI resident trying to learn who in their former community signed
6. VTR posted as soon as the website was up it was attacked by hackers…someone with computer expertise can explain how that affects hits/min and server impact.
7. ???? How many misguided, angry progressives tried to disrupt the site with a ” protest?” None? One? Thousands? After seeing the Althouse coverage of the 2011 protests, the signs and chants and illegal doctor notices, one can only wonder….

“Tea party recall database gets up to 10,000 hits per minute.”
That’s a peak number, Alice, not a sustained rate. Your math is completely wrong.

investigated for what?
is this still the Democrat Milwaukee DA doing the “investigation”? (nothing political about that is there? btw, the DA has been investigating for 2+yrs…good thing the people of Milw Co can afford this…oh wait, Milw Mayor Barrett (D) used Walker reforms to deal with budget problems and now touts he “saved” 2500 jobs…)
Is this the same investigation started when WALKER contacted the DA and notified him of possible illegal activity by people?
why don’t you link to your progressive source so we can read the facts(?) you refer to?

As I’ve said before, and I’ll say it again:
IF Walker broke any law, he should be charged and tried before a jury of his peers.
Get a clue alice, a person is innocent until proven guilty…allegations are what spin people create so they can keep angry people angry.
You again rely on guilt by association (the sex crimes guy IS NOT Walker, the veteran funds guy IS NOT Walker, WHO exactly established a “secret email network”…nothing yet states Walker DID IT, the illegal campaign donator has been sentenced…but it IS NOT Walker)
The “taxpayer dollars” were ABUSED (what does that mean?) for political gain is a new one for me. Is that like the Democrat attempt yesterday to push a natural gas bill through the US Senate to benefit BIG Democrat donors Soros, Pickens, Douglas?
And your #5, “defender of ax murder” guilt by association had me laugh so hard I had to clean off the computer screen.
Come on Alice, apply guilt-by-association equally to ALL politicians…and don’t forget to examine your own friends and business associates…you never know what THEY are up to. And just think, if one of your buddies is a tax evader, then you MUST be one too!

Wow, Alice, you needed 5 sources to put together less than a single complete sentence?

It’s a good day to be sick when someone provides entertainment that takes my mind off how yucky I feel.
Yes Alice, Walker’s office provided the info to the Milw Co DA that started the J Doe investigation:
“…Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm said the investigation is ongoing.
Chisholm, a Democrat, said the investigation was not initiated by his office but by Walker’s then chief of staff Tom Nardelli. Nardelli told prosecutors that about $11,000 seemed to be missing from the annual Operation Freedom event at the Milwaukee County Zoo designed to honor military families….”

But I understand your confusion. I had to wade through a lot of librul blogs/opinion pieces just screaming with indignation and glee to find a more neutral source that even mentioned what I’d correctly remembered. And, you may want to check on that lawyer defended ax murder thing, one lib blog said the lawyer was the son of a man who had defended an ax murderer…but it’s obvious you aren’t interested in the truth. Now, are you going back to the lib “guilt by association” meme? Have you had time to check on YOUR associates?

alice thinks she “caught” me, not realizing she caught herself in her own “logic” …let me ‘splain
Alice: Walker is responsible for all these bad things other people have done, (sex crimes, stealing money, email networks, etc…)
Alice: Walker cannot be responsible for his Chief of Staff doing something good by contacting the DA
is it possible you’re the one having it both ways…on a lot of issues?
I was unable to find the source (the first 5 pages of search results are filled with current news -mostly lib blogs) I first read that reported Nardelli spoke with Walker about his suspicions, and Walker told him to report it to the DA.
Common sense: employee notices something “not right”, goes to supervisor, supervisor either deals with it or if CEO/business owner/County Exec tells right-hand man to contact correct officials. Also common sense: employees doing unethical/illegal activities try to hide that from supervisor and others who may report activities. This ain’t corrupt Chicago / Illinois politics yet. Thanks for showing your double standard Alice.
