Good letter, Roger…I hope retirement is treating you well!! I believe we both know that he does a lot for the board…he has so much power over them because it’s been created through years of manipulation. Most of them don’t have to work very hard, because all of the work is done for them. They don’t have to do any research, they don’t have to do any leg work, they don’t have to do anything, but show up. I believe it’s common knowledge around the building, that he feeds the board the information he wants them to know and leaves out the information HE does not want them to know. He funnels the information to them in a fashion where he gets what he wants, damn the consequences. How many times have we seen that? For most of them, all they need to worry about is to make sure they to go to their two board meetings a month, shake their heads yes, and collect their checks. Why would anyone want to mess with easy money, like that? He truly is a brilliant man, if only he could use his ingenuity and powers for good.
