The approval ratings of Congress and its members are at an all-time low. In fact, according to some recent polls, 11 percent of Americans approve of polygamy, while only 9 percent approve of Congress. Continue Reading

Here in Minnesota we all knew that DFLer Sen. Amy K. and DFLer Sen,Al Franken weren’t doing a decent job for us. As we read the WCTRIB above, it is no wonder they are doing such a poor Job.(all these two is play the YES game for President BHO) I don’t know if our two DFLer Senators are really that bad(9% approval rate), or if it is President BHO fault for making them TOE his Policies. For sure when our two DFL Senators get to read about the 9% approval rating, they will get on the stick, and starting telling us their spin on how GREAT they are doing. Looking towards that , as soon as they get at it.

Despite the comments about only 9% approval of Congress, the members who face the toughest primaries are challenged by members more to the extremes than they are in office–hardly a sign that ‘moderates’ will rise up.
Besides that, Americans have usually disapproved of Congress while wanting to keep their own members. Klobuchar will win re-election in a walk and Franken would probably do quite well also. On the other side, Bachmann should easily hold her seat with Kline and Paulsen being able to rest easily. Walz and Cravaack will have to work hard but they both knew that going into their campaigns to win office.

Seems like most of this bunch are dying off, rather than actually retiring.
Something about that just strikes me as being wrong, somehow.
