The Super Tuesday fight for the critical battleground state of Ohio was still too close to call as of 10 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Santorum failed to field a full slate of delegates in the Buckeye State, so it remains to be seen how many of the 63 Ohio delegates up for grabs he will take even if he wins the popular vote.

The real winner on Super Tuesday was Obama. The Republicans need to go back to the drawing board and figure out how to appeal to a majority of voters. Romney is the weakest candidates the GOP has had in decades.
