Fish oil is not considered a drug by the FDA. Neither is it a vitamin. It is an oil, no different than the oil they use for cooking in the school cafeteria. If they suspend this student, then they should fire all the cooks too for pushing “healthy oil”.
I’m glad to see this story go out on the AP wire. Now Sioux Falls School District will be the laughingstock of South Dakota. We’ll be right up there with the silliness that goes on in places like Kalifornia.

In protest, I think all of the students should bring their own lunch with sandwiches in the shape of giant pills. Let’s see how many of them are suspended for eating a sandwich. Geesh, this whole thing is ridiculous.
