The ‘Vise’ that he threw out the window is sometimes spelled ‘Vice’ in the UK…so if the writer is from the UK or Australia he gets a pass. Otherwise? Vice in the US and Canada means ‘sin’ or ‘deputy’ as in ‘Vice-President’
