Transportation officials say traffic on U.S. Highway 85 in January increased by one-third. Increased truck traffic has led to more accidents, speeding tickets and drunken driving arrests, officials say.

Typical. Blame the problems on motorists instead of fixing the road to accommodate higher traffic; and fixing the legislative and justice systems to allow people to use the roads they bought and paid for in a suitable manner. But, of course, fixing the road and the legal system won’t have a profit motivation like just handing out more tickets based on overly-restrictive laws designed to rake in a maximum amount of money.
