   Please, maybe if we were more outraged at the atocities being committed by our fellow man, and more embittered by the failure of our leaders and each of us to do something about it, the world might indeed be a better place. In some three thousand years of recorded history, any god has yet to step in an put a halt to senseless killing and hatred of man against man. And lest we forget, more deaths have been attributed to religious conflict than any other cause in the history of mankind. I expect you to tell people to get off their butts and do something positive about preventing these travesties in our lives, not sit back and naively ask their god to forgive the perpetrators in the hope injustice will just go away. In all our recorded history it hasn’t gone away, and it won’t unless decent men and women take action on their own. And please, don’t tell me or anyone else that “God is on our side”. The principles you espouse are on the side of all decent and caring people across the world, regardless of religious affiliation, creed, nationality, color or condition. Its time for a call to action, not excuses for inaction.
