Insurance is a paradox. You have to pay in more than you get back to cover administration costs. Or many have to pay in and get little or nothing back so the few can get paid out. The real problem with health care is the many and outrageously expensive medical conditions that are caused by lifestyle. Poor lifestyle choices account for the vast majority of medical expenses. The big issues like heart disease and in many cases diabetes, easily avoided and even reversed by lifestyle choices(diet, exercise).
