These very same policies for companies to cover contraception in their employee insurance plans have been on the books in over half the states and many companies for a long time. In addition, Repubicans have voted to support these policies over the years without any problems at all. What’s different now? A chance to make political hay during an election year. This makes the whole Republican party look ridiculous. I mean, really. Arguing about whether it’s OK for women to be able to get their contraceptives through their insurance plans is a bad idea for the Republicans. It paints them as anti woman which they are. Viagra has been and continues to be available for men and that is totally OK with the Republicans. What a pathetic group of losers.
