Mr. Paul White, very nicely written, though written through the liberal lens. I am a republican and I could care less what you do in your bedroom, or with whom. I am still waiting to see those weekly war marches that dissappeared the day Obama became President, did we end the wars and close Gitmo that quickly? The contraceptive issue is not a Republican/Democrat issue, it is a Government dictating to a Church what they must provide. It would be no different than the Government telling you that you can only purchase whole wheat bread from Econofoods. Speaking of Aids in Africca funding, “Though Obama had pledged $1.05 billion per year for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria for 2010 and 2011, the actual % contributed were 75% and 60% respectively. Overall funding has decreased by 22.5% between fiscal years 2008 and 2011.” Did you catch those dates, that would be from when “Dubya” was President to current. Way to go Obama, he really hates Africans, must make him a racist? So a Church asking for a waiver to not provide contraceptives in it’s insurance plan is all of a suddan a Republican issue? When if you follow the timeline of this incidence, it points directly at the Church and the Democrats in bed with each other. The health care reform law has been around almost 2 years, this detail has had to be known for awhile. In a debate in early Jan a question was asked about contraception, that at the time, made no sense as the issue was not even in the peoples mind. So before you start ripping the Republicans and the “religious right,” there are just as many zealots on the liberal side of religion who want to force there views upon us as well. Obama is the poster child for decency, sanity and integrity? I am speechless, you have got to be joking, right? He re wrote bankruptcy law to pay off his freinds with the Auto union, used Solyndra as a shinning example of his policies in his 2010 SOTU address. His smart diplomacy has caused thousands of deaths in Syria, bowing to world leaders, apologizing for the greatness of America and making more people dependant upon government. If this is what you call decency, sanity, and integrity, you can keep it.

Got to love a country that allows it citizens the right to openly disagree with each others viewpoint, have it published and not face any kind of negative sanctions from their government. It’s really not as bad regardless what both of you say on this issue.
