The Jamestown girls’ hockey team is getting accustomed to meeting up with Fargo North in the opening round of the state high school hockey tournament. The Blue Jays, however, aren’t ready to get accustomed to the previous two outcomes. Continue Reading

Good luck at state girls. Regardless of the outcome you have done Jamestown proud with your record setting season thus far. And to do it with the low numbers on the team is even more impressive. Go Blue Jays!!!!

All I heard at the game tonight was what an amazing job the Jays do with what little they have. The heart they showed tonight makes everyone proud who is assosiated with the team. Good luck tomorrow girls you make Jamestown proud.

The game against Bismarck is likely Jamestown’s best chance to win a State Tournament game. They have gone 1-12 against the six teams ranked higher than them this year with that one win coming against Bismarck. If Jamestown and Williston can post upset wins today, the Jays could be bringing home some hardware. Good luck!

And have gone 9-0 against the teams they are suppose to beat, In fact they have yet to be upset the last 3 seasons. Teams always get upset this eam doesn’t. Oh and 1-0-1 against the 2 Minnesota teams they have played. I like to stay positive unlike a certain poster on here.

Congrats to the players and coaching staff on their huge win over Bismarck! That’s the most impressive win of the year and one of the biggest in the program’s history. Best of luck against Minot!!

I would have to say this year for the girls hockey team was pretty damn successful and it was filled with a bunch of firsts. First team to beat a Minnesota team. First team to reach double figure in wins. First team to beat Bismarck. First team to win a state touney game. First team to win a trophy at a state tourney. And first team to have winning record at 13-12-1. Jamestown should be proud.
