President Barack Obama is proposing to cut the corporate tax rate from 35 percent to 28 percent and wants an even lower effective rate for manufacturers, a senior administration official says. Obama closes some loop holes and lowers the tax rate for corporations. Corporations do not pay much, if any taxes now. This just makes it worse. He should have closed the loop holes and left the tax rate alone. For those that object, look at the outrageous profits corporations are posting. They can well afford to start paying their share. They do claim to be people, after all.
