I cannot imagine having one person to cover the 17 oil and gas producing counties is going to make much of a difference. Jack must be looking to get re-elected as he proposed taking a look at the oil and gas tax formula. When a local democrat proposed this a couple of weeks ago she was criticized for doing it during an election year by Al Carlson, the same Al who introduced the UND nickname legislation that is going to cost the taxpayers a buldle before that issue is finally put to bed.
