I’m ever the cynic, I know — at least a skeptic. But I ask the same question here as I ask when government says they’re going to give money to a specific group: Whose money are you giving? Will those of us not interested in investing in a system that sounds like it would take decades to break even (and that doesn’t include maintenance and other ongoing costs) pay more for our electricity? I’d prefer utilities use such money to build nuclear power plants.
