The Alexandria Clinic and Douglas County Hospital issued a news release Monday afternoon saying they have reached a preliminary understanding in their merger negotiations and both parties have signed a letter of intent under which Alexandria Clinic would be integrated with Douglas County Hospital. Correct me if I am wrong. With a county hospital or clinic you could pay 10$ a month or whatever you could and nothing could happen to you. As long as you were making a payment, you were fine. This new merger is going to be owned by someone? Does that mean the owner can set a higher minimum on your payments, or not accept you to be seen if they know you cant pay much?
