Hey, 3 out of 4 ain’t bad… (some say, encouragingly even, the third time’s a charm, but elope already)
Maybe, after last year’s performance at state, the coach ought to tune down his expectations/outsized ambitions just a bit:
“We aspire to be sectional champions and state champions.”
At least he’s not aspiring for unicorns to grow from his fruit trees, eh?! Or for free ponies to fall from the sky for all the fatherless children everywhere.
Congrats to Somerset, and Amery too! Well-earned wins, and the start of a new tradition in the MBC?
